Chef Icon

I went to this place with my new colleagues... Ooh, I am definitely a sweet person. Too bad their signature cakes are out. I heard it is always out of stock. Best to pre-order. Anyway, I still managed to grab tiramisu and a ny cheesecake! Superz! I like it and will definitely go back for more.

Pure Colors

Yesterday over lunch, my new colleague was commenting how good my complexion is. I smiled back. This morning, while doing my make-up, i was reminded of her words. I know my foundation helps abit.

I was looking for something that is super light and can do my make up everyday. Something for a change for my new job too, though i have not been putting on anything on my face for the past 5 years. Then I come across this push cart at Jurong Point promoting this mineral loose powder. The most amazing thing is there is no expiry date! I think most girls, like me, always buy make-up and place it at homes for ages. When it is time to use it, there is an awful smell. So this brand solves my problem! haha... I really like this super loose powder. I am applying it everyday now.

Online Shopping

I really like this website/forum. It allows me to pass time during my honeymoon period in a new company. It allows me to do one-stop shopping on all the various stuff that I "probably" need in my life! haha... Good Excuses, right?

All my Kate Spade bag, clothes from Taiwan/Korean/Forever21 etc, body cream, make-up, diapers, baby clothes are all from here... haha...

Confession

One of my friend did a confession over facebook about her life. Her life was so hard since her 20s. Now that we are in our 30s, looking back in our life, I think there should be more challenges, births and deaths that we should be expecting in our life.

Another fren of mine shared that

"We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death.

But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live"

I am glad that she shared and actually open up. I will do more then now and my promise.

I shall give 5 stars rating in this.... Check it out!

Dinner @ Melt ~ The World Cafe

A Super Right Decision to have dinner in. Every single food that i have tasted to super! The suckling pig is so tender and the skin is so cripsy! The chicken bite makes my son wanted more. The freshness in the prawn is just so juicy! Even the lime that goes with oyster can be so yummy! Oh Gosh, i wish I can have dinner at this place every night!

The money that you are paying for makes you wants to try everything in the cafe, even if you are not a sweet person. Only then you will realise how the desserts melts! A truly Melts Cafe!

Long Lonely Ride

Not sure how many years since schools, my lao pa, boyfriend, friends, then husband will ferry me around. For work, my company also provides company transport that will send me to my doorstep. Now, for a change, i need to hire a routinal "driver" - MRT!

Those long (dun even to mention squeezy) rides reminded me of someone. I used to take long rides to meet him. He used to take long rides to send me home and afterwhich, send himself home too. So sweet back then.

My husband, who is not IT-savy at all, will not be seeing this. Sometimes, i will ask myself what if we were together. I know there is no answer to my question. He is happily married. Right now, I can only ... "Those were the days..."
